Recommended hardware for our Point of Sale solution.
Tablets
We support all 7"+ tablets running Android 4.0.3 (Ice cream sandwich) and above.
We currently do not support Android phones or tablet screens smaller than 7".
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 Tablets
We recommend Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" for terminals and Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7" for waiter pads or dispatch stations.
Acer Iconia A500 or A200 Tablets
If you require barcode scanning, we recommend an Acer Iconia A500 or A200 Tablet. Both of these tablets have full sized USB ports that supports a wide range of USB barcode readers. Our solution uses barcodes to pay orders or open orders (if they have been marked paid.)
The Acer Iconia A500 or A200 tablet also work great for regular USB keyboard usage as an alternative to the on-screen keyboard.
Peripherals
Receipt Printer
Our Point of sale solution is designed to work with a Star Micronics TSP100LAN series of receipt printer. This printer also has a MultiPRO Interface port which connects the printer to a cash drawer.
Bluetooth model Star Micronics printers are not supported by us!
Cash Drawer
We recommend a APG Vasario Cash Drawer. The TSP100LAN printer supports any cash drawer using a MultiPRO 320 Interface. The MultiPRO 320 Interface cable is not included with the cash drawer so be sure to order it.
Label Printer
Our Point of Sale solution is designed to work with a Brother QL-720NW Label printer.
We currently support the following labels:
